Description
Circa 1895. Reflecting its humble beginnings as a New England farmhouse, the hosts and 20-year Mount Desert Island residents, Evin and Tom Hulbert, have paid every attention to detail in the renovation of the old house. Each room is tastefully decorated in country shaker, resembling the ambiance of the old Quaker farms. A full gourmet breakfast can be savored on the sunny porch or outside on the patio. Lush gardens surround the grounds and many activities are within walking distance, including Acadia National Park and the many restaurants and shops near historic Bar Harbor.
