Historic Interest |
The Green Heron Inn was built in 1908 as a boarding house. It is located in the Cape Arundel Summer Colony Historic District. The Green Heron Inn is one of the original five hotels, motels and inns from the peak period of resort development which are still operating as an inn to this day. The inn's cottage (the Shannon) was known as the Captain Goodwin House and was built in 1885.
