Description
Circa 1790. Views of the waterfront are enjoyed from this 1840 Greek Revival sea captain's home in the rocky coastline area of Newcastle in mid-coast Maine. Relax with morning coffee on the front deck overlooking the tidal Damariscotta River and take a nap in a hammock. A refrigerator is stocked with beverages and sweet treats are provided. Guest bedrooms are named for the more renowned ports of call and boast pleasing amenities. Linger over a gourmet breakfast in the dining room or on the back screened porch that looks out on the gardens. Flying Cloud Bed and Breakfast is near Pemaquid Point Lighthouse and Fort William Henry. Boothbay Harbor is also close by, going the other direction.
