Circa 1850. Reflecting the finer architecture of the times, this 1853 shipbuilder's home has been wonderfully restored with wooden floors of walnut, ash, maple and wide pine planks. The non-smoking bed and breakfast is situated on a quiet side street a short walk to nearby attractions. Comfortable and cheerful guest bedrooms, including the two-room Forget-Me-Not Suite, are air conditioned with private baths. Some rooms feature beds accented with colorful quilts. A bountiful breakfast prepares the way for a day of adventure in the Freeport area with shopping, seal watching, harbor cruises, fishing, hiking and enjoying the scenery. Special dietary needs are accommodated with advance notice.
