Circa 1849. A welcoming inn that was built in 1849, this Italianate Victorian has been restored to retain and reflect its original splendor while offering truly modern comfort. Enjoy afternoon refreshments in one of the spacious parlors, each with a fireplace, or sitting on the garden patio. Elegant yet inviting guest bedrooms and spacious suites in the main house and adjoining carriage house include luxury linens and comfy robes. Select a room with a gas fireplace and a clawfoot or whirlpool tub. A multi-course breakfast is served among candles and flowers in the dining room that boasts original tin ceilings with fancy plaster moldings. The seasonal menu features locally grown ingredients as well as herbs and berries picked onsite. Ask about special seaside adventure packages.
