Circa 1874. Located on the site of the Mulligan Plantation, this inn consists of three West Indies-style homes on more than six acres of landscaped gardens. The grounds include an antique rose garden, a parterre herb garden and an iris pond. A private pier and swimming pool extend out into the lake, which was once the field of this Louisiana sugar plantation. All of the rooms are uniquely furnished and the galleries offer a place to relax and enjoy the tropical breezes. Swamp tours, fishing charters, hiking or canoeing in the National Park are available.
