Description

Experience the pure Cajun heritage and hospitality of innkeepers Frank and Joyce Naquin, who are of Acadian ascent and speak fluent Cajun French and English. Their two-story ranch-style home is located in a historic city on the banks of Bayou Lafourche. Play a game of pool or explore the scenic area on a bike. Guest suites are available on the first floor and upstairs. Early risers enjoy morning coffee on the patio before gathering in the family dining room for breakfast. Joyce’s cookbook with recipes in French and English is available for purchase to try the recipes at home. Stroll through downtown by moss-laden oaks and antebellum homes. See America’s oldest working sugar cane plantation, take a guided swamp tour or visit the cultural center at the Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and Preserve.
