Circa 1885. Built in Greek Revival style, Chateau du Louisiane is located on the edge of New Orleans’ famous Garden District. The home, along with the myriad of other historic homes and buildings, is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. Period furnishings decorate the guest rooms, suites and common areas. Each guest room is named after someone famous in Louisiana history, such as Louis Armstrong. The chateau is one mile from the French Quarter, and the St. Charles streetcar stops just three blocks away.
