Description
Circa 1896. This 1896 Greek Revival inn is the former the estate of a mahogany king of Louisville. It is located in historical old Louisville amid the largest collection of Victorian homes in America. Victorian craftsmanship is evident throughout the inn -- from the rare Honduran mahogany in the dining room to the fireplace with rose marble to the intricately carved dining chairs. Sunshine shining through the stained-glass windows and doors creates prisms of light all over the inn. The eight working gas fireplaces and original hardwood floors set a wonderful mood throughout the inn and the five guest bedrooms. Lucky indeed are the guests who partake of Rich's full gourmet breakfast, which includes such specialties as caramelized apple French toast or German pancakes with mango and peaches. Complimentary evening snacks are the perfect end to a pampered day.
