The soft hues of green, tan, and gold adorn the interior of over 800 square feet. The custom designed native slate fireplace and double whirlpool overlooking the Mississippi are only the start to an inviting stay.
This Grand Deluxe Cottage is decorated in French blue, white, yellow and gold with unique wall art features. Included amenities are fireplace, double whirlpool overlooking the Mississippi River, custom King-size bed, custom bath with tub and shower, stereo, TV/VCR/DVD and satellite. Complete galley kitchen with complimentary beverages, microwave, and coffeemaker add to the comfort of this cottage. This cottage has access to the private patio and grill area.
Since Innkeeper Patricia's lineage is Irish, you may say this cottage was a true labor of love to design and decorate. The green color of the Irish knolls was used to start with and it just gets better from there. The cottage has the usual Grand Deluxe cottage amenities; Kenwood stereo, Bose surround sound, large-screen TV, VCR, DVD, DSS satellite, double whirlpool overlooking the Mississippi River. A fireplace done in river boulders and matched to the waterfall shower in the bath really provides this cottage with a special feel of the Irish countryside.
Truly one of the most deluxe suites in Northwestern Illinois. The breathtaking view of the Mississippi River surely adds to its reputation. The suite is equipped with a large fireplace with natural limestone hearth, a complete entertainment center including Kenwood Stereo CD player, cassette, tuner TV/VCR/DVD, DSS Digital Satellite TV all with remote control, a King-size bed and an oversized whirlpool placed on a raised ceramic tiled pedestal area. You can actually relax in the whirlpool while enjoying the sunset over the Mississippi.
The Covington is the latest edition to our Grand Deluxe category of suites. The decor is in the English country Manor tradition with raised panel effect on the walls and dimmable wall sconce lighting. The hunt colors of maroon, navy and hunter green have been used throughout.

The Leafland Cabin holds true to its name by using leaf greens, ivory and some really unique applications of galvanized tin. This cabin is furnished with a double whirlpool, custom Franklin stove fireplace, and a complete Sony entertainment system with large screen TV, VCR, DVD, DSS, satellite, CD player, tuner, tape player, all with Sony Home Theater surround sound system. A unique white-washed look on the King size bed and matching furniture provides a casual luxurious feel for the whole cabin. The galley includes the usual mini refrigerator stocked with complimentary beverages along with sink, coffeemaker and microwave. The galley is also large enough for a cozy dinette set.
This is the first of our Grand Deluxe log cabins. These units follow the same tradition of excellence as the rest of our Grand Deluxe suites and cottages. This cabin is decorated in a lodge and log cabin style of rustic luxury which is equipped with a creative blend of antique accents. This cabin has a large double whirlpool and custom Franklin stove fireplace. A truly unique solid hickory King size bed, and over-sized tufted chairs are perfect for enjoying the complete Sony entertainment system with large screen TV, CD player, tuner and tape player, this whole system is backed up with Sony Home Theater surround sound system and a DSS Satellite system. To complete this log cabin there is a kitchen galley area with mini refrigerator stocked with complimentary beverages, microwave and coffeemaker.
