Take each day at a personalized pace with experiences that will fulfill your wildest dreams. Parents appreciate the supervised age-appropriate activities that include bug catching and stargazing. Couples can indulge in candlelight camping, exotic gourmet cuisine and a meadow massage. Relax on a sunset horseback ride, swim in the stream or fish in the pond. Stay in the Overlook Cabin with an antique clawfoot tub, wood-burning stove and a balcony view of the rolling pasture. There are bunks in the Saddlehouse, and the Porch Cabin is suitable for families with young children. Accommodations are also available inside the historic main house where a hearty breakfast starts each day. Location: Country and Mountains. Learn to handle horses and cows in the same way as Rocky Mountain cowboys did 150 years ago. The Butler-Cape House is a restored 1850s farmhouse which was the scene of famous murders involving the Moonshine War in North Georgia. We provide the history and the resulting tales of unexplained events that still go on, around one of our campfires. Relax in our timber-framed wellhouse and watch the horse and cattle herds come into view. Boat on Parker Pond or wade in Big Scarecorn Creek and explore our private island, Isla de Cleona. We have a long list of experiences and adventures to suit you, plus packages for families and children. Room DetailOverlook Suite The overlook has a living area, bed area, wood burning stove, antique dining table, stained glass, kitchenette, separate bath. Private bath has 1824 restored tub and several antique stained glass windows . It has a leather sofa, a calf hide on the floor, books, antique hutch with antique dishes, copper pot from Mexico as sink, refrigerator, a beaded birch bedside lamp. Balcony with best views of the ranch has stained glass and copper accents, bench and big comfortable wicker chair. Type of bed: Queen Saddle Room A spacey, rugged room that houses four double bunk beds, antique saddles displayed, wood-burning stove, and poker table. Type of bed: (4) , Double The Porch Cabin The Porch Cabin has a reading area with a stained glass light, a leaded glass window, a 1930's 9X12 navaho rug, a beautiful replica of a Missouri confederate calvary banner, a wood stove, lambskins on the floor, a private porch, two adirondack chairs with a table and a fenced in yard. Particularly suitable for young families or the elderly or handicapped. We would bring in cots and featherbeds for kids.
