Description
Circa 1907. Originally owned by the Gibson sisters, this impressive cypress and pine Victorian inn has been meticulously returned to its turn-of-the-century grandeur. Located in the heart of the historic district, the inn was picked as one of two buildings in the state for restoration and preservation. Relax with a drink in the nautical bar or view the Apalachicola Bay from a rocker on one of the wraparound verandas. Guest bedrooms are furnished with wrought iron or four-poster beds, armoires and other period antiques. Linger over breakfast in the dining room. Mystery weekends and weddings have increased the inn's popularity.
