Description
Circa 1927. Overlooking Chipita Lake and at the base of Pikes Peak, this native stone and log lodge features a hot tub and gazebo with views of mountains on its two-acre knoll-top location. Formerly the local post office and general store, the lodge boasts rooms with fresh Western decor as well as rooms with Native American influences. A three-course breakfast is served with country-style entrees. Evening and afternoon refreshments are offered before the large stone fireplace in the handsome gathering room or on the deck overlooking the lake. The Garden of the Gods, Manitou Springs and Cripple Creek are nearby.
