Circa 1887. Built by a master ship builder for a sea captain in 1882, this Victorian bed and breakfast is accented with a nautical décor. It is located just blocks from the quaint Old Town and the new Boardwalk. Relax, read or play games in the Fireside Room with a writing deck and soft music playing in the background. On the first Saturday evening of each month an Arts Alive! reception is held for a local artist or photographer and the artwork hangs in the gallery all month. Each guest bedroom features a private bath, TV, VCR and robes. Stay in the spacious Captain’s Quarters, the fantasy Rose Garden Room or the Mission Room with DSL modem. Savor breakfast served in the dining room with general seating or provided in-room.

Historic Interest |
Built in 1887 for Capt. Brandt by master shipbuilder Fred Butterfield. The Capt. included a balcony for his wife, Ida, to stand and view the ships coming in and out of the bay. The vents on the skirting are portholes design. Stained glass windows, a stairway with two landings, very unique, curved moulding, and two unique archways are some of the features that draw many comments by visitors.
