DescriptionCirca 1877. The older of the two Victorian homes that comprise this inn was built in 1877 and is listed in the National Register. The other, a stately Queen Anne, was built in 1899. Located in historic downtown Napa on a tranquil tree-lined street, many world-class wineries are minutes away. Thoughtfully appointed guest bedrooms and suites feature antiques and artwork as well as an assortment of upscale amenities. Many include fireplaces, whirlpools or clawfoot tubs and balconies or patios. Each morning a menu of exquisite homemade cuisine is served for breakfast. Relax with refreshments in the gardens or by the fire in the parlor. This property has been featured in New York Times, San Francisco Examiner. Location: Wine Country. Inkeepers NotesWelcome to the Napa Inn - a delightful inn, full of romance and fantasy. Jim and I have had the dream of owning a special place, removed from the hectic pace of the big city for many years. For us Napa is paradise found. We love the rolling hills, the green grass and yellow mustard in the spring, the warmth of the summer sun, relaxing under a redwood tree, the beautiful oranges and yellows of the vineyards in the fall. A little of us can be found in each room. I have faux painted many of the guest rooms. My oil paintings grace the walls of the parlor and dining room as well as the watercolors I have done of the Napa Inn. Jim and I have labored over many details of the inn, from tiling bathrooms to building flower boxes. We enjoy cooking delicious breakfasts for our guests. We both consider ourselves "people persons" and our past careers have nurtured these skills. We delight in telling our guests about the many wonderful sights to see in this area, a special road, a hiking trail or a wonderful winery. One delight we've discovered here in Napa is the fantastic restaurants. We'll share with you some of our favorites. Maybe we'll even have a chance to sit by the fire in the parlor and share a cup of tea. Hope to see you soon! Room DetailThe Victorian Room Victorian furnishings reminiscent of a bygone era.
