Description

Built in 1992 to resemble a Victorian farmhouse, Johnson's Country Inn spans ten acres in Chico in the Sacramento Valley of Northern California. Bird watching is popular while sitting on the wraparound porch or gazebo. One acre of landscaped lawns and flower gardens extend to almond and walnut orchards. The lower floor is handicap accessible. Gather by the fire in the parlor or play the piano, guitar, puzzles, cards, chess, checkers or board games in the garden room. An assortment of snacks and beverages are always available. Stay in the Harrison Room with a fireplace and Jacuzzi tub. Early-morning coffee is delivered to each room and a generous breakfast with entrees accented with fresh herbs and flowers is served in the dining room.

Situated on former acreage of an 1800s family, the inn was built to resemble an early farm-style home of that period.
