Description

Circa 1888. Offering ONLY weekly lodging (no nightly stays), this restored historic landmark is located just three blocks from the heart of downtown Santa Cruz. It sits in a small city lot surrounded by a Victorian garden of box hedges, ferns, hydrangeas and roses; it is framed with a large Norfolk Pine and a 125-foot high Coastal Redwood. Relax in one of the ground-floor fireside common rooms. Watch a DVD in the parlor or play the 1887 grand piano in the sitting room. Spacious second-floor and cozy third-floor attic guest bedrooms are well-appointed with period antiques. The large Fireside Room boasts bay windows, a four-poster bed and a clawfoot tub. The kitchen is fully equipped to make meals that can be enjoyed in the sunny dining room.
