DescriptionThis historic hotel was built by Dorrington's town founders as a hotel and restaurant for those traveling through the area on stagecoach. More than a century later, guests still arrive for that purpose. Guest rooms are decorated in country style with antiques and brass beds topped with handmade quilts. A separate accommodation, "Cabin Sweet Cabin" offers a kitchenette, stone fireplace and whirlpool tub and may be rented apart from the bed and breakfast. The innkeepers want their guests to have a relaxing stay, free from the modern world, so there are no televisions or phones in guest rooms. Continental fare in the mornings, and Northern Italian cuisine nightly in the restaurant. According to legend, the ghost of the hotel's former mistress sometimes walks the hallways. Location: Mountains.
