Description
Circa 1889. Churchill Manor was the first Napa Valley residence to be listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Each room of this stately Napa Valley manor is individually decorated with fine European antiques. All rooms have fireplaces, five have two-person showers and eight have vintage soaking bathtubs. Priceless artifacts have been preserved, such as original bath and fireplace tiles trimmed with 24-karat gold. Guests are treated to delicious breakfasts and freshly baked cookies and refreshments in the afternoons. Leisurely breakfasts include an abundant selection of fresh fruits, fresh-baked croissants and muffins, and a choice of two specialties that change daily. In the evening, there is a complimentary two-hour wine and cheese reception. The innkeepers add Victorian flavor by keeping complimentary tandem bicycles and a croquet set on hand for their guests. The Napa Wine Train, Copia and historic downtown Napa are within walking distance.
