Description
Circa 1929. Opened during the height of the '20s as Lake Arrowhead's first membership resort, this country inn provided refuge to Silver Screen heroines, the wealthy and the prominent. Old letters from the Gibson Girls found in the attic bespoke of elegant parties, dapper gentlemen, the Depression, Prohibition and homesick hearts. Each room is furnished with antiques collected from a lifetime of international travel. There is also a game parlor, wine tasting cellar, library, art gallery and garden Jacuzzi and sauna. Wine is offered in the afternoon. The Crestline Historical Society has its own museum and curator and a map of historical sites you can visit.
