Description
The Heritage award-winning Corkscrew Inn is set in a quiet residential neighborhood, within walking distance of both the Seawall and English Bay one way and the fabulous 4th Avenue the other. Marvelous shopping, unique boutiques and an extensive variety of dining choices are nearby. Each bedroom in this fully-restored 1912 Craftsman home has a different look and feel, although all boast private bathrooms, balconies and comfortable beds. The inn showcases both owner Wayne’s collection of corkscrews as well as his wife’s hand-made stained glass windows (over 70). Breakfast is an enjoyable experience around the dining room table and often features home-smoked salmon along with freshly baked goods.
