Description

Circa 1900. Renting as an individual house that luxuriously accommodates six or less, this 9-room home is listed in the National Register. The two-story Pearl Tatman House, with generous gingerbread detailing that reflects a classic Painted Lady, is gracefully poised in the historic district of Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Sit in a lawn chair on the fieldstone patio around the pond with two running streams or relax on one of the wraparound porches overlooking the valley. Rock walkways are sheltered by shade trees. Relax in pleasant accommodations with period furnishings, comfort-level beds and a clawfoot soaking tub or two-person Jacuzzi. A fully equipped kitchen and an easy walk downtown make meals simple and enjoyable. Visit the Carnegie Library nearby and see the popular local sights.

This property has been featured in "Americas Painted Ladies, The Ultimate Celebration of Our Victorians" (Page 115), "Eureka Springs, A Pictorial History", the Sixth Annual Bank of Eureka Springs Historical Calendar (1887), Noted as "the most photographed home in Eureka Springs" and has been painted by many artists around the world.

Location: City/Urban.

Inkeepers Notes

Its all yours; the entire house. Elegantly furnished and completely accessorized, this three-bedroom Queen Anne Victorian comfortably accommodates six guests. Its all yours; the entire house. Enjoy the formal dining room, the fully stocked kitchen, the spacious, high-ceilinged, light-filled living room and the three romantic bedrooms. The walls are adorned with 35 smartly framed original oil paintings. Two verandas overlook the koi pond with two rippling streams. Spectacular sunrises illuminate East Mountain and the Christ of the Ozarks statue across the valley. See it all from your two-person Jacuzzi, imaginatively set in the "cold room in the mountain." Horse-drawn carriages romantically clip-clop their way down Spring Street below, along the trolley route to town.
