Historic Interest |
Originally homesteaded by A.J. Swanson in the early 1900s, this land was purchased by the Federal Government to be included in Roosevelt's New Deal Colony Settlement. In the 1960s our bed and breakfast was operated as Fairview Dairy. One of the Matanuska's premeir dairy farms. In 1986 the dairy farm and barn was transformed into our spacious B&B Inn. Historic sites nearby: Independence Mine (15 miles)
