Circa 1912. This historic farmhouse has an infamous beginning, it was built by a member of a gang of claimjumpers who operated during the Gold Rush. The home affords stunning mountain and water views. The home is comfortably furnished, and one guest bathroom includes a clawfoot tub original to the home. Breakfasts include fresh fruit and entrees such as sourdough pancakes with ham. The area offers many activities, including museums and a historic walking tour, skiing, snowshoeing, ice fishing, hiking, fishing and much more.
