Description
This rich wood home is a newer building, but displays many Victorian elements, including a two-story turret. The inn boasts a view of Denali, otherwise known as Mt. McKinley, as well the surrounding wilderness. The interior features wood paneling and a hint of Victorian decor. The den is an especially fun room for hunters, the walls are decorated with bearskins and other hunting trophies, such as deer, mountain goat and pheasant. Guest rooms are warm and cozy with flowery touches and a few antiques. Breakfasts feature items such as a cheese souffle or perhaps eight-grain French toast. After the morning meal, guests can take advantage of the multitude of outdoor activities, from hunting to hiking to skiing.
