My friend and I are writers, and we come for the peace and quiet. For the beauty. For the luscious surroundings - and we don't mind Jen's fabulous breakfasts, either! It's our perfect writing getaway. This year we allowed another writer friend in on our treasured weekend, and she agrees. Thanks for the lovely stay.

Great to be back in 2011! We first came here in 2004. So beautiful and relaxing, drinking in the fragrances of Jen's beautiful roses. Giulio's beautiful woodwork surrounded us. Breakfast was wonderful, as was the conversation. Thanks Buddy for your great hosting! We'll be back.

Two great nights of sleep, hearty breakfasts, lovely weather. We watched Mr. squirrel fill his tummy from pine cones. We watched the Mallard family play in our secret little pond. We listened to the birdsong and frog chatter. Blessings to you.

What an amazing night! Our first night together as hasband and wife. What a Beautiful and relaxing place to stay after an exciting and fun day. Beautiful grounds to take a morning stroll and an amazing rose garden! The perfect place to top off the start of our life! Thanks.
