Unique Experience We felt we had been dropped into paradise...lush foliage everywhere, beautiful sunsets over the Mobile bay, privacy in our little cottage, daytime laziness on the pier with a cool breeze always blowing on us, resident pets always around but very well-behaved, an on-site historian who has all the answers about local history (a very gracious Miss Becky)and relaxation that we have not experienced since the last time we stayed here! Circa 1938. A white shell driveway leads to this gracious home, located on three acres of landscaped gardens of camellias and azaleas on Mobile Bay. A wide sandy beach and 462-foot private pier gives guests an unparalleled experience. The pier is popular for waterside picnics, naps, fishing, sunbathing and an occasional barbecue. Furnished with family heirlooms and period antiques, the rooms also offer stained glass, Oriental rugs and quilts. Guests are treated to bountiful breakfasts in view of pelicans in flight or diving into the bay. Southern hospitality is extended in a variety of ways throughout your stay.
