Description
Circa 1873. Step back in history by staying in a mansion that has hosted parties with U.S. Presidents, Hollywood celebrities, and European royalty. Some of the original Batcheller family furnishings are still present in this architectural masterpiece. When the home was first built, the plans were copyrighted because they were so unique and had such effective modern features. The nine guest rooms are named for members of the Batcheller family and the U.S. Presidents with ties to the family. All guest rooms have private baths, plush robes, individual air conditioning and heat, wireless Internet, and cable television. The President Grant room has a regulation size pool table. A full, cooked-to-order breakfast is available every morning. Conveniently located on Congress Park in downtown Saratoga Springs, New York, young at heart guests can ride the historic wooden carousel or walk to restaurants and shops. Thoroughbred horse racing is only minutes away at the Saratoga Racetrack.

Reservation/Cancellation Policies:
Cancellation |
Mansion Limitations: Adults only property; 16 years of age and older (unless entire mansion rental). No pets. Private Inn; only our registered guests are permitted on premises unless prior arrangements are made with front desk/office. Smoking outdoors only. Smoking indoors will incur a $250 fee, per incident. Deposit & Cancellation: Regular: Deposit of one night stay, per room, plus tax. Your one night deposit is for your first night stay. Cancellation up to 48 hours before occupancy is eligible for a refund. Cancellation within 48 hours of occupancy will be eligible for a refund only if the room is resold. All refunds will be charged a $25.00 processing fee. Occupancy is 3:00pm on scheduled day of arrival. Early departures will be billed. Racing Season: One night's stay requires full payment. More than one night's stay, requires a 50% deposit. By June 15, all balances for all reservations are required to be paid in full. Cancellation will be eligible for a refund only if the room is resold. All refunds will be charged a $25.00 processing fee. US Holidays/Holiday weekends & Saratoga or Skidmore College Events: Full payment is required at time of booking. Cancellation refund only for nights that the room is resold. Refunds will be charged a $25.00 processing fee. |
