We loved our little cottage, and enjoyed the new deck and waterside patio very much. Breakfast made by Chef Smythe was of course as amazing as always. We love visiting our family in Saugerties and glad to have a great place to stay and call home.

Best Breakfast

Without a doubt the breakfasts were outstanding - layer upon layer of delicious flavors blending together so pleasing to the palate. The hosts made wonderful hiking recommendations providing maps and directions.

BEST BIRTHDAY

In planning a memorable birthday weekend for my boyfriends 24th, I looked for several things - a beautiful house, fantastic amenities, and a B&B that truly lived up to the "breakfast" in its title. We got all those things and more at Smythe House.

Hudson Valley getaway

Our trip to see the Hudson was last minute and we are so lucky that we came across this amazing place. The room very intimate, warm and inviting, and so comfortable. The breakfast something to look forward to in the morning. All in all a positive experience.
