What a beautiful retreat you have. We had such a great time and the cottage we stayed in is just darling. It is unfortunate that mommy and daddy duties call and we had to cut our stay short, but nevertheless, we were able to enjoy alone time. Can't believe the amount of snow that fell here though. What a beautiful, gorgeous sight. Such a treat! Thank you for the yummy breakfast. We will surely be back soon. Our regards to Rusty!

We had a wonderful visit. Such peace and tranquility. It is a beautiful oasis! Breakfast each morning was superb - the French Toast was divine. Great conversations with the other guests. This was a perfect location for exploring the area. We really appreciated your suggestions for wineries. Your lovely and gentle spirit is what makes this place as special as it is. Thank you for making my 50th birthday so lovely and relaxing and for providing a place where my husband and I could fall in love all over again.

Lovely place and perfect breakfasts and great conversation. Perfect. Nice pets, nice neighbours, great garden ... in fact ticks all the right boxes. Don't really want to leave.

Wonderful, quaint and quiet B & B with a great location near Harbin in Middletown and other spas in Calistoga. Our stay was so relaxing because it was peaceful and tranquil in our lil cottage with our own private deck. The cottage was large with all the amenities, soft, huge towels and nice comfy linens on the king size bed. Greta, the innkeeper is such a sweetheart, so kind and a very good cook. Our breakfast was so yummy- homemade french toast with fresh berries and huge, meaty bacon! We will definitely stay here again!

I have made dozens of business trips each year to south Lake County since 2003, and have stayed at many of the available accommodations. Backyard Garden Oasis is by far my favorite. I look forward to a glass of wine at the end of the day on the wood deck in front of my cabin and to the sound of birds in the morning. It is amazing how close you can be to the hustle and bustle of Napa Valley and yet find peace and quiet. I will keep going back.

What a wonderful, off the beaten path, experience. I can't remember the last time I relaxed in quiet comfort. The innkeeper was truely wonderful and her breakfasts were delightful.

Backyard Garden Oasis was a lovely get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The grounds are beautiful and the rooms are basic but very cozy. Greta was a wonderful hostess and we look forward to staying here again sometime.

This is the first place my partner and I vacationed at when we met 7 years ago and in August last year we were married at this beautiful oasis. We've spent time here many times over the last 7 years. The inn is quiet and peaceful, Greta, the owner is wonderful to talk with, she's smart and funny, and makes the most amazing breakfasts. After spending many wonderful weekends at Backyard Garden Oasis we decided it would be the perfect place to get married and it was. The planning was easy and Greta was able to suggest many vendors in the area to help us with planning our wedding. We had the most special day of our lives at Backyard Garden Oasis and we will continue to visit often! It feels like our second home.
