Circa 1909. This inn was built on the foundations of an 1870 tannery and a 1790 grist mill. Secluded, yet within the city, the inn features a cascading waterfall, historic waterwheel and meandering creek on one acre of gardens and redwoods. Country French decor, cozy fireplaces, and deep-soaking whirlpool tubs are luxurious amenities of the Babbling Brook. In the evenings, complimentary wine and cheese are served.

We were impressed with the genuine warmth of the inn. The best breakfast we've had outside our own home!
