Minimum Stay Requirements

A two-night minimum stay is required, three nights for holiday weekends and up to five nights for special events.

Cancellation

Any cancellation or date change must be made at least 14 days prior to arrival date (30 days for special events and holidays) or the full amount of the stay will be charged. A $50 per room administrative service charge is applied to all cancellations and date changes, regardless. In the event a hurricane is forecast for South Florida, Azul Hotels adopts the policy of returning the entire deposit upon request, however rain or cloudy weather does not constitute a valid reason for cancellation. A deposit of 50% of stay is required to reserve rooms, payable by major credit card, cashier's check, personal check or wire transfer.

Historic Interest

Azul Key West is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It was built by one of Key West's wealthiest cigar barons, Walter Sayers Lightbourn for his son James Walter around the turn of the century. The Lightbourns owned the Cortez Cigar Company with plantations in Cuba.
