Awarded as one of the best country inns in North America, the owners strive to maintain high standards in service, comfort and food. About Our Rooms

Magnolia Room

Magnolia RoomDecorated with beautiful magnolia accents, a striking magnolia border finishes this elegant room. Grand Victorian King-size bed with romantic lace curtains and antiques. The original private bath continues the magnolia theme and has a large tub with shower, surrounded by lace curtains.

 

Garden Room

Garden RoomSunny room overlooks the gazebo, fountain, terrace, and gardens by the back wall of the estate. Floral quilts and prints fill this large room along with white wash furniture and a King-size poster bed. Private shower bath has yellow tile and Waverly white wallpaper with blue ribbons.

 

Rose Room

Rose RoomElegant and romantic room often selected by brides for their honeymoon. Large room filled with walnut and mahogany pieces. Eight-foot-tall Eastlake headboard with Queen bed surrounded by other Eastlake antique pieces with marble tops. Roses, angels, and cherubs accent this special room overlooking the Magnolia tree. Large private bath has a chandelier glowing with gold and burgundy colors continuing from the bedroom. A tub and shower complete this lovely bath.

 

Hats and Hearts

Hats and HeartsWindow-filled corner bedroom overlooking the front fountain, with lace curtains, birdhouses, hats and whimsical hearts. Queen-size, hand-carved, hand-painted bed, covered with pastel florals and pillows. Private shower bath has green and white striped wallpaper and matching tiles with a white pedestal sink.

 

Carriage House Suite

Large suite located steps away from the main house and gazebo with its own private parking. Features a King-size bed with garden florals, lace curtains, TV, and original oil paintings. Living room has a romantic lounger and pillow-filled love seat, television, VCR and CDs. Large private bath with dressing area.

This wonderful 1926 property on 3/4 acres and 2 blocks to town is a wonderful peaceful reprieve from all the rush of "big" city life. We stayed here during one of the Mt. Dora bike festivals. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the hospitality. The hot tub was wonderful after a day's worth of biking.
