Circa 1891. Set among timeless oaks on famous St. Charles Street is this 1891 Thomas Sully mansion. The inn has high ceilings and hardwood floors, and its 17 guest rooms are furnished with period pieces. Come during Mardi Gras and you can sit on the big front porch and watch the 18 Mardi Gras parades that come down St. Charles Avenue. The French Quarter, Central Business District, Convention Center as well as Tulane and Loyola Universities are all within 1 3/4 miles. Antique shops, restaurants and night spots are within walking distance.

Personable owners. Inn has great character. Extremely positive experience-nice continental breakfast-will be making reservations for our family in June and August 2010. Highly recommended!
