Queen Charlotte's Suite...This first floor spacious room is entered through a private hallway which separates the suite from the common rooms. It has a queen canopy bed, sitting area with matching recliners, a wood burning fireplace. It also has a secret! The bath features a large jacuzzi tub for two, mirrored closets and a second bath area with a walk-in-shower. An elegant and romantic suite! Oh yes, the secret is found in a secret passage that begins in this room and goes up through the second floor to the attic, said to be where the Tories were hidden during the Revolutionary War!

This circa, 1699, New England Bed and Breakfast, reflects the elegance and romance of an all-but-forgotten way of life. The six bedchambers or suites are carefully decorated and appointed to reflect the 17 century details of the Inn. Each room has its own special charm... some feature New England shuttered windows, or colorful old Nantucket speckled floors and canopy beds. Evidence of its age and history can be seen in the wide board flooring; wood usually reserved for the King during colonial times; hugh open-hearth fireplaces; one with a bee-hive oven; and a secret passage connecting the upstairs and downstairs---thought to be a hiding place for Tories during the Revolutionary War.
