Circa 1896. Civil War hero Colonel William E. Silsby built this comfortable restored Victorian that has been added to the National Register of Historic Places. Guests will enjoy strolling through the gardens or relaxing on any one of the inn's three porches. All guest rooms feature private baths with clawfoot tubs, air conditioning and tastefully appointed period furnishings. Breakfast includes homemade baked goods, blintzes, quiche, eggs Florentine and the inn's award-winning French toast. Vegetarian and dietary restricted meals are accommodated. The inn is situated between the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, the town center and the Historic Railroad District, where galleries, museums, antiques, restaurants and quaint shops can be found. Ski packages are offered.
