Anniversay was So Special

We spent our twentieth wedding anniversary at the Ascot House, I cant wait to go back again. It was just PERFECT. Romantic room, outstanding breakfasts and quite the loveliest innkeeper you could imagine. She made our stay memorable - nothing was too much trouble and she went out of her way to pamper us.

Wow!

We have stayed at dozens of B & B's and this is without doubt the best one! from the welcome to the rooms to the food and most particularly the innkeeper, this is one I would recommend, part of me does not want to recommend it so that we can keep this treasure to ourselves! But it was such a great experience that is would be selfish not to share.

Best B&B EVER!!

Ascot House B&B is PERFECT! The best B&B we've ever experienced in the USA or abroad. The building itself is grand and gorgeous (huge ceilings and lots of fireplaces), elegantly decorated, and beautifully appointed. The bedrooms are huge, elegant, totally comfortable, and very romantic. Loved the fireplace! The bathrooms are outstanding: enormous jacuzzi tub , a fireplace, real English toiletries, soft towels and even robes. We had a fantastic authentic English Tea after check in. Yummy. Breakfast was delicious too and custom tailored to our requests. The innkeeper is so nice, friendly and helpful: She "made" our stay. We will DEFINITELY go back again as soon as possible!!!! Best B&B expperience EVER!!!!

Elegant, Romantic, Amazing!

Such an elegant house and decor! I felt like a princess all weekend. The rooms are Huge and plush with 4-poster beds, the bathrooms are enormous and have jacuzzi tubs for two. Fireplaces galore. Great food. Amazing ambiance. Central to so many different attractions it was almost hard to choose, and definitely cause for going back again! We look forward to visiting Ascot House every year! Mrs. Codd was such a gracious and helpful hostess. Anyone who can stay at this B&B definitelly SHOULD. It is absolutely amazing!!!! Best B&B we've ever experienced anywhere. A must see :)

Great weekend getaway

This past weekend we had a most enjoyable stay at the Ascot House. It was our first time at a Bed & Breakfast. From the first moment we arrived we were greeted by a most welcoming hostess, Wendy Codd. She is so warm and charming. She made us feel at home in this beautiful home. Her breakfasts were amazing and so filling. We feasted on home baked muffins and breakfasts cakes, followed with a hearty eggs, sausage, bacon hash browns. We got to meet other guests who had this experience and it was a lot of fun! But Wendy was very charming and amiable. We had chances just to sit, talk with her and share experiences besides sightseeing

Wonderful Visit - Coming Back Soon

My wife and I visited Ascot House B & B for our 12th Anniversary, and we were tremendously impressed with the elegance of this Federal style home, and the hospitality of Wendy and her staff. We were welcomed as if we were family coming home from abroad...We could tell that Wendy goes above and beyond to take care of her guests. From enjoying cheese, and wine in a sitting room by one of the many the fireplaces, to feeling as if we were family with other guests at breakfast the next day - and I will tell you the breakfast was wonderful as well ! Fresh fruit, over 6 types of juices, turnovers freshly made...and anything else that you care for, they really went above and beyond to take care of us. The rooms were immaculate, warm, elegant and the amenities were as advertised, if not better. We are already looking forward to making a return trip to the Ascot when we can take even more time to enjoy the sites, the beautiful home and the hospitality we have already enjoyed. The pictures do not do it justice... I can tell you if you are planning on visiting Lancaster County, this will be well worth your time, and investment in enjoying time away with your family, or loved one. Thank you Wendy Bob & Kim D.
