Angel of The Sea

We got married in Cape May on the 20th of June, 2010 and stayed at The Angel of the Sea for our first Wedding night. This Inn is tops!!!!!!

Our recent stay at the Angel could not have been any better. Chet and staff cannot do enough to see that you have an enjoyable stay. The Angel looked beautiful, decorated for the Christmas Holiday.The breakfasts cannot be topped,enough to get you through to afternoon tea,and wine and cheese.The only bad thing is having to check out. My wife and I cannot wait to return in May for our anniversary.

my wife and I stayed here for our anniversary and we couldn't ask for a better place to stay. The service was great and with a made from scratch breakfast and tea time in the afternoon and wine and cheese in the evening you can't go wrong. The rooms are beautiful with an ocean view that is spectacular. The Angel spares no expense when it comes to making the guests feel comfortable, with an outdoor shower for guests, towels, and free bikes. I would recommend this place to anyone.

The staff is great at making you feel home. The setting is very cozy & Victorian. The Angel of the Sea is close to the beach & you do not have to rent add'l chairs since they allow you to bring the ones on site. We attempt to go at least once a year.

If you have ever yearned to feel the romantic days of yesterday, visit this most glamorous piece of history. Close your eyes and you have gone back in time to impecable service,wonderful cusine and the romantic feeling you have always wanted.

Loved the angel.Just stayed and found the the staff,goodies and area to be wonderful. Needeed a romantic dinner spot and they got me reservation that had my wife on cloud nine.The rest of our stay was shall we say Priceless.Thanks Angel.

My fiance took me to Angel of the Sea for my birthday this year and it was the most romantic B&B we have ever stayed in! The room was incredible, the food delicious, the view breathtaking. We can't wait to return!

I had the opportunity to stay with the folks at the Angel of the Sea last summer and really enjoyed my stay. The service was excellent, my room was clean, private and comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. They served peanut butter and jelly stuffed french toast one morning. We loved it! We're planning another stay at the end of August. Very romantic!

The outrageous breakfasts (too good to be put into words), afternoon tea with scrumptious goodies, wonderful staff, absolutely grand victorian furnishings, the ocean breezes, bicycles to ride around historical Cape May, the gorgeous beach and and a beautiful gift shop full of "Angels" to remember your relaxing stay. Could there be anything more ROMANTIC ?

Angel of the Sea is such a romantic place to stay--my husband and i have stayed there on many occasions--summer, fall and spring, can't wait to try it this winter! The food is delicious, and the people top notch.

My husband and I received a gift card for the Angel of the Sea for our first anniversary. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We chose the Angel Suite and it couldnt have been more romantic as well as comfortable. We enjoyed seeing the view of the ocean and plan to return for several other special occasions.

I have been to the Angel of the Sea twice now and intend on going next summer as well. It is elegant and you can have a view of the ocean right from the front porch. This past summer we brought my parents and our son with his girlfriend. They loved it as well.

Spent a long weekend this spring at Angel and it was such comfortable and friendly atmosphere. The entire staff was full of information about the Inn and things to do in the area. We have been to the area numerous times but they told us some things to do that we never had thought of and throughly enjoyed our entire stay! Did I mention the breakfast was excellent every day! This is just one extremely well kept inn with friendly staff.

The inn is absolutely gorgeous. We stayed in a room that was decorated beautifully. Our room had a semi-private porch overlooking the ocean. We took some wine and munchies from cocktail hour at the inn to the porch and sat looking out at the Atlantic. What a romantic evening that was for us!! It was evening and the lights that line the roofs were on and gave a hint of candle light to our little rendevous.

I wish I could buy it and live there!

The Victorian architecture is the most beautiful in Cape May. The Angel of the Sea is very romantic in every aspect, including the guest rooms and the awesome views from the endless porches facing the sea. If you are a romantic and apprciate Victorian ambience, the Angel is the place to be! The staff is the very best!

I'm only 19 years old and I went to Angel of the Sea with my mom. I loved it as soon as I saw it a few miles before we even checked in. The people are wonderful there and the rooms were individually beautiful and unique. I would highly recommend it to people who would truly enjoy good homemade food, lovely people and warm hospitality.

My husband surprised me with a stay for our anniversary and I couldn't think of a better present. The staff was fabulous, the food terrific. And the views...the ocean was right there!

My Wife and I are regular guests at the Angel. The staff is extrodinary and extremely helpful with any needs or request you may desire.The breakfasts are great.As well as the afternoon desserts.Than to end it all is the wine and cheese. The beds are comfortable for a good nights sleep. Just a simply relaxing getaway.

My wife and I just stayed at the Angel of the Sea for a wonderful three night getaway. We had one of the beautiful Angel Suites, which included a picturesque view of the Atlantic Ocean from our balcony. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Each day, we enjoyed a delicious selection of tea and treats at 4:00pm followed by wine and cheese at 5:30pm. The breakfast each morning was very good too! The Angel is located very close to the downtown shopping area as well as local restaurants and most importantly, a stones throw away from the ocean. We would highly recommend the Angel of the Sea for a romantic getaway. My wife and I are definitely planning on going back again!

ANGEL OF THE SEA IS A VERY SPECIAL PLACE TO ME. MY HUSBAND AND I COME EVERY YEAR FOR MY BIRTHDAY. (THIS IS ALL I WANT FOR MY BD.) I COME NEEDING THE PEACE AND QUITE AND THE BEAUTY OF THE ANGEL AND LEAVE RELAXED AND REFRESHED. LOOK FORWARD EVERY YEAR TO THIS SPECIAL PLACE.

We stayed in their Honeymoon Angel Suite and felt like we were on OUR second honeymoon

We recieved a getaway to Angel of the Sea as a gift a few years ago and have been hooked ever since! We go as often as our schedule and finances allow us (our favorite time to go is off season) and their rates are awesome! You will not find a more Romantic place to get away in cape may! The staff is wonderful and their breakfast is second to none! You will be hooked too :-).The Yunkers of NJ

The staff made for a wonderful getaway. I called to see if I could have flowers sent to my wife for her birthday. By the time we arrived they were in the room waiting for her. A bottle of champagna and a way we went.

Thats what we enjoyed during our mid week stay at the angel.We loved the tea and sweets,laughed during wine and cheese and loved the rest of the evening

Trying to rekindle a love I thought I lost. We spent a weekend at this wonderful inn, the room, the staff and most important the romance was perfect we cant say enough about our stay. A great place to stay.

As young adults, who have never stayed at a Bed and Breakfast before, we are happy that we chose the Angel of the Sea. The employees were very friendly and accomadating. Tea and wine and cheese filled us up so much we didn't go out to dinner. Instead we sat by the fire and watched one of the movies we picked from the Angels selections. I will definitely be choosing the Angel as a romantic get-a-way.

my husband and I just returned from a much needed 2 day get away. Tired and crankey from the holidays we checked into the angel and was met by the most accommodating staff. They helped us to secure spa services, dinner reservations, served us the most wonderful sweets and each night before dinner we sat in front of the fire and enjoyed the perfrect glass of wine and appetizers. Our 2nd morning after a huge winter breakfast we went to our car to discover it had snowed over night!!! The nice man that does their maintenance even cleaned our car and shoveled us out while we went for a fairytale walk on the snowey beach. Thank you Angels...we will be back!

We've travelled bed and breakfasts for years and this is by far the best.
