heaven on earth

Dee and Mike were wonderful. They made our stay at Anchors Inn on the Lake in Branson, Missouri relaxing and peaceful. Their Bed and Breakfast is the most Romantic get-away we have visited. The Mediterranean Room was heaven on earth. The view of the lake from our balcony was tranquil. The air jet tub in the lighthouse above our room with the fireplace set the mood for romantic evenings. Dee's breakfast each morning was delightful. Her scrambled eggs were the best we had every ate. The conversation each morning at breakfast with the other quest and Dee & Mike were outstanding. We felt like we had known Dee and Mike forever. Their personal touch right down to the homemade cookies each day was remarkable. Any questions we had about the area they knew the answer. My wife and I have found the perfect get-away, just three and one half hours from Kansas City. We will be visiting Dee and Mike again in the future.

Quiet Romantic Christian Getaway

We only have good things to say about the Anchor Inn and Mike and Dee. From the time we arrived at the Anchor Inn we were greated with hospitality and comfort. We did not feel like we were invading their home and they treated us as their own. The breakfasts, cookies and the accomadations were fantastic. The drive from the location to Branson was a little longer than we expected, but well worth it. We are already talking about our next trip to the Anchor Inn and telling friends and relatives to book soon.

Cozy and relaxing

My wife and I had a great time at Anchor Inn. It was a beautiful destination. Our stay was very quiet, cozy, and relaxing, and we had a great time. The food was absolutely delicious and Mike and Dee, the Innkeepers, were so kind.

Mike and Dee Berry were very friendly and generous Innkeepers. They have a beautiful bed and breakfast with a view of a lake. Very quiet and relaxing. We are already planning on going back.

Home to get away from home...

My husband is in the military and had spent the past year in Afghanistan. He planned our trip to The Anchor Inn, as a suprise getaway for the two of us, while he was overseas. I couldn't have asked for a better place to spend our days away from the everyday stresses life has to offer. I really couldn't come up with a single way for the Berrys to improve on our stay!! I loved the comfort of the room. We enjoyed making ourselves at home in the common area as well, felt like we were truely "Home away from Home". Meeting other couples and learning about them as well as Mike and Dee at breakfast was definately a favorite time for us. Then there were the quiet walks by the lake just enjoying the wonder of God's creation. Again I must say there was nothing that could have been improved on for our stay.

Perfect Romantic Getaway

My bride and I went here on our honeymoon and stayed a total of 4 nights. I must say, the inn itself is enough reason to come out, with its unique building and beautiful surroundings (Table Rock Lake!!!). My sweetie and I were treated to a filling, healthy, and delicious breakfast every morning with better service than we've ever gotten anywhere (they even lit a candle for us, for breakfast!), and you can get the cookbook full of the recipes. Everything was clean, the proprietors (Mike and Dee) are very kind and professional about everything. Twisty lake roads aren't kind to the faint of stomach, but its worth it to really "get away". Definitely intend to go there again.

Happy Anniversary

We stayed at the Anchor Inn for our 35th wedding anniversary in July...We have stayed there before..it was wonderful. Wonderful service, absolutely fabulous room and the service was excellent...christian atmosphere, you get a feeling that you are family not just a customer. We will definitely go back again. Mike and Dee the Innkeepers are sweet sweet people.

Wonderful Honeymoon, relaxing stay

My husband and I were able to stay at the Anchor Inn on the Lake May 25th-30th 2009. This Bed and Breakfast was everything we could ask for, and more for a honeymoon. It was a short walk to the lake where we enjoy the wonderful view and watched the fish jump in and out of the clear water. The hot tub was so relaxing with a beautiful view, not to mention the view of the stars at night. The breakfasts were amazing, and the owners are welcoming and inviting. We enjoyed the company and had great conversations with these awesome people. The Jacuzzi tub in the Mediterranean room topped it off to a relaxing honeymoon. Branson was a short drive, and we enjoyed a landing cruise, shopping and many other joys of Branson. Also just a few minutes away were Talking Rocks Cavern, and miniature golf that we enjoyed. Everything was within a short drive, the location was great! It felt like we were secluded enough to leave our troubles behind and enjoy each other, yet if we needed anything, it was only a short drive away. I definitely recommend this place! The hospitality was great, the privacy was perfect. This is definitely a warm and welcoming place, one I would definitely return to.

Honeymoon B&B

Anchor Inn Absolutely awesome place to say. My wife and I were looking for some place quiet, peaceful, secluded, with beautiful views and scenery, and we were blown away by this place. Certainly got the full package. It's away from the bustle of Branson, nice and quiet, very relaxing environment, the building itself was beautiful inside and out. Even on the 5th day we were in awe of the whole experience. The owners, Mike and Dee, are an incredible couple. Very sweet, eager to do everything they could to keep us comfortable. This was our first B&B stay, but I am very familiar with that type of business being as I worked in one for four years. Anchor Inn certainly set a new standard for me and spoiled us on the B&B experience! Ben B.

Just What We Needed

The location was perfect -- near enough to bustling Branson but having the quiet and solitude of the lake. We stayed in the Virginia Room with the balcony overlooking the lake. We chose to have our gourmet breakfast on the sunporch while enjoying the pleasant conversation of our knowledgeable hosts, Mike and Dee Berry. After shopping in Branson we came back to cookies and hot chocolate by the fireplace. Our 2 night stay at the elegant Anchor Inn on the Lake was everything that we wanted. We definitely felt pampered. We highly recommend the Anchor Inn on the Lake.

An Awesome Getaway!

My husband and I celebrated our 10th anniversary in November 2007 at Anchor Inn. The Inn is beautiful with a breathtaking view of the lake. All of the rooms are uniquely designed and the food was great. Mike and Dee are wonderful people to get to know. We would highly recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone needing a quiet, relaxing getaway!

Favorite Branson Getaway

We have stayed with Mike and Dee at the Anchor Inn three times now. Here are our thoughts: welcoming, warm, comfortable, delicious breakfast, good company, off the beaten path, relaxing, beautiful lake view, fun kayaks, good sleeping, and chocolate chip cookies. Mike and Dee have thought of everything.

Romantic End of the Road Getaway

A few weeks ago my wife and I were invited by some friends to join them for a weekend at the Anchor Bed & Breakfast Inn, located on the west side of Branson. Due to its location, traffic is no problem at all. We had a wonderful time there. The owners, Mike & Dee, are absolutely fantastic folks who will cater to your every need. With Mike's help, Dee serves up a wonderful breakfast. The Bed & Breakfast is a charming, romantic stop at the end of the road where peace and quiet reside. The rooms were very clean, wonderfully decorated and the beds felt great. We liked our visit so much we returned the next weekend for some more fun and relaxation. We have already recommended the Anchor Bed & Breakfast Inn to our friends and family, and additional stays at the Anchor have been scheduled. Mike and Dee will make your stay very enjoyable and comfortable. You will feel right at home.

First Class Romantic Retreat

We chose The Mediterranean Room for its private upstairs deck, its upstairs jacuzzi tub and the well accented downstairs bedroom. The quite surroundings of the property added to the feeling of a private retreat. Mike and Dee were attentive to details and engaging with area recommendations and making us feel at home.

We loved our romantic stay

The property is located in a very private surrounding and it gives you the best feeling of connection with the nature. But you are still just 20-30 min from all Branson shows if you want to have some fun. I can't say enough nice words about Dee and Mike. They surround you with such warm family like atmosphere that you actually feel like you came to visit your family. And the breakfast is amazing. Great stay, amazing nature, definitely will be back.

My first stay at a Bed & Breakfast

We stayed at the Anchor Inn on the Lake in West Branson and had an amazing time. The Inn Keepers were delightful and very accommodating. The atmosphere was serene and welcoming. I immediately felt a spirit of love upon entering the home and will definitely put them on the list of places to visit yearly.

Sister Reunion

My sisters and I, along with our husbands, recently enjoyed a weekend reunion at the Anchor Inn. Dee and Mike certainly raised the bar for a bed and breakfast experience! This was exactly what I was looking for; warm and inviting rooms, great view/availability of the lake, plenty of sitting/lounging area, restful night's sleep and each morning, at breakfast, we were served a perfect blend of both comforting and elegant dishes. You won't be disappointed in the Anchor Inn.
