Amethyst Inn @ Sarah's Garden

Circa 1888. Anticipation builds while walking up the front steps, through the front doors of this massive Victorian home situated on a scenic street in the historic district. A mosaic tiled floor, almost 120 years old, has been preserved. The floor pattern has been replicated on the hand-painted walls. The grand stairway and natural woodwork are kept in pristine condition. There are several parlors and 12 fireplaces throughout the inn and in each of the guest bedrooms. Hand-painted stenciling highlights the Rose, Camellia, Magnolia and Dahlia Suites. Encounter antique four-poster, canopy, carved mahogany and rice beds. The Garden suites, Ivy and Hydrangea, offer a kitchen, living room and private entrances. Relax on one of the porches, the bricked courtyard and, of course, in Sarah's garden.
