“Fantastic!”
Lisa YazderiJackson, MS
This has been a fantastic and relaxing experience! The house is not only beautiful but also so warm and inviting. Lynn, the perfect hostess, shares great history lessons and has such a welcoming and friendly attitude! I enjoyed watching her decorate the Christmas tree and am in total awe of her decorating ability. she could give Martha Stewart a run for her money. I don't ever remember a time I have slept so well- wish I could take the bed home with us! Guess I'll just have to come back.

“Champagne, Chocolate & Shakespear”
Georgia BurkeI came from Kansas for a baby shower and got Alexander mansion as a bonus! What a delightful and beautiful place this is! Another real treat was my fortune in being there for the Champagne, Shakespeare and Chocolate event. I adore shakespeare and being able to watch some scenes from the vantage point of the screened in veranda was a delight. Breakfast was marvelous and everyone was so welcoming and gracious! I couldn't imagine a better or more delightful weekend!

Wendy StrengThe Alexander mansion B&B is the highlight of our girlfriends vacation. Wonderful staff- wonderful decor. We toured the Watkins Museum, Polish museum, the art center and the Maritime Museum. Lunch at the Lakeview Drive in. Car hops and 50 cent cones are the best!! Supper at the Acoustic cafe and a concert at the band shell made for a wonderful Wednesday.

“A Five Star stay!”
Marilyn SingWhat a beautiful and comfortable place to stay! Winona offers lovely scenery, historic mills and architecture, as well as welcoming people. We toured the Winona National Bank's second floor enjoying the stained glass and Italian marble, but shocked to see the mounted animal heads and huge elephant ears displayed. The Shakespeare production of "Comedy of Errors" was over the top- most enjoyable! The Alexander Mansion served us an excellent breakfast, and the wine and crackers around four were relaxing and delicious.

“Outstanding Mansion!”
Bob WillNorthfield, MN
I have had the good fortune, over the decades, to have stayed in many B&B's in United states and abroad. None has been better than the Alexander Mansion. The loving care and painstaking attention to countless details that Lynn and Fred have devoted to restoring and decorating this house, in ways authentic to its era, far exceed that of any other B&B I have experienced. It is truly a labor of love.

“Most Romantic B&B Ever!”
Linda LeeBrooklyn Center, MN
Martha's room brought back many memories of the "old days." The furnishings are very appropriate. Our son and his wife gave us a gift certificate to be used here. They do this for us yearly and the Alexander Mansion is Tops! The hospitality was very generous and Fred you are a very good cook!!! We would highly recommend this as a place to stay.

“A Rare Gem”
Nick & Jacquie BuchCanton, OH
From the moment we walked in the front door of the Alexander Mansion we felt as though we'd been transported back in time to a gentler and more gracious way of living. The decor throughout the mansion has been lovingly researched and restored to its original glory. The window dressings in each room are in themselves a work of art. The antique Victorian furnishings and accessories are exquisite, and yet the atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming throughout the mansion. Breakfast each morning was a gourmet delight. The wine and cheese hour each evening and the bedtime cordial, chocolates and turndown service made us feel very pampered. The service throughout our 3 day stay was impeccable.
