What a delight to find this little gem in the midst of a big city. Charming, comfortable and clean with reasonable rates. Many amenities such as a continental breakfast, satalite TV, e-mail computer are included in the rate. The staff were wonderful and friendly, they new everything about theatre, shopping, a bite to eat or historic tours. I highly recommend this simply wonderful hotel.

Circa 1898. The Alexander Inn has resided in the center of Philadelphia for more than a century. Today, the historic building offers 48 guest rooms decorated in contemporary style and each room features a variety of artwork. Some of the amenities offered to guests include a buffet-style continental breakfast, use of the inn's 24-hour fitness center and telephones with modem ports. For an extra fee, parking is available at a nearby garage.
