Pacific Suite

Step inside this spacious room and be greeted by a panoramic view: the hills to the east, the perennial garden, the beach where the ocean meets the river, and the ocean beyond. One of only two guest rooms in the Main House (both on the second floor, separated by a stairwell and each with its own private outside entrance), the Pacific Suite is the most luxurious; elegant custom woodworking, a cozy fireplace, a separate bath and shower, walk-in closet, ample counter space for setting out snacks and drinks. Enjoy the outdoor splendor from your private, south-facing deck.

Sea Breeze Room

This room on the west side glows warmly at sunset. One of only two guest rooms in the Main House (both on the second floor, separated by the stairwell), it’s top floor position allows for wonderful garden, beach, and ocean views. A private entrance leads up to your own deck where you may enjoy the outdoors. Cabinetry and paintings by local artists add to the style of the Sea Breeze room.

Cove Cottage

Relax in bed and enjoy the ocean view in this Craftsman style cottage. Detailed with Asian accents, Cove features elegant bamboo flooring, a woodstove with glass doors and a custom tile shower. Even the bathroom offers an ocean view! With a deck overlooking the beach, this private, oceanfront cottage is the closest accommodation to the water in Mendocino Village.

Garden Cottage

A thoroughly redwood room with the delicious warmth of paneling on all sides, this private cottage has a Franklin fireplace and a pleasant blue water view over the garden from the west window. A peek of the beach and surf can be seen from the Dutch door. Picnic or relax with a book on the sunny deck.

Tree House

Your own private retreat is the upper floor of our Carriage House. (The first floor is used only for storage.) Stargaze through the skylights from the California king bed, or get cozy by the fireplace. Take in the blue water ocean view from the chairs in the nook, the shower and sunny private deck.

Driftwood Cottage

Many of our guests tell us that they could live in this private A-frame cottage. There’s a kitchen and dining table to give you the option of having dinner in. The sleeping loft above, with a peek of blue water from its window, gives this space its playhouse feel. The sitting room on the main level has a single-sized futon, good for a group of three. Look out through the window wall to a private secret garden. Custom craftsmanship in wood and Japanese tile reflect the Mendocino arts tradition.
