Stay in a yurt on Resurrection Bay at Lowell Point in Seward, Alaska, for a wonderful spring or summer experience filled with adventure. All five species of salmon migrate through the bay and there are regular sightings of eagles, otters, sea lions and whales. On a rare occasion a black bear yearling may be viewed. The sleeping area includes a queen-size bed, futon, and a daybed with twin trundle. The kitchenette features a microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, refrigerator and bar eating area. There is a barbecue on the front deck and ample parking for vehicles and boat trailers. Walk the beach, explore the shoreline trails, fish from shore or fly a kite. Ride a bike, take a water taxi or schedule fishing, sightseeing, or kayak charters nearby.
