Description

Circa 1890. Stay at Akwaaba Bed and Breakfast while visiting our nation's capital. This four-story Victorian rowhouse was built in 1880 and has been renovated with a delightful décor that celebrates African American authors and classic themes. The B&B is perfectly located in Washington, DC less than a ten-minute walk to the Dupont Circle metro station, so city monuments and museums are easily accessible. Meet other guests over afternoon refreshments. Reserve an onsite massage or spa service. Delightfully inviting guest bedrooms and spacious suites boast pampering amenities. Stay in a room with a clawfoot tub, couples dual shower or in a suite with double Jacuzzi. Start each day with a home-cooked breakfast before beginning the day's adventures exploring America's history or influencing present-day politics.
