What else could we have wanted?

My daughter was married at the Aerie B&B on September 16. She announced her impending marriage two weeks earlier, and we made arrangements for it via the internet. We chose the Aerie from the B&B's in New Bern, and of course we worried that we'd made the right choice. It was our only daughter's wedding! And even though she and her fiance were handling their wedding much differently than we would have liked, we wanted desperately to make their day as nice as possible. We couldn't have chosen a better place than the Aerie!! Michael and Marty, our hosts, were incredibly accomodating and their inn was the perfect setting. What a gorgeous house! Every room was impeccable: the comfortable parlor, the cozy dining room, the exquisite bedrooms. We rented the Basin Street Room, the Tuscarosa Room and the Hidden Room; each one was special and unique. The decorating was warm, welcoming and beautiful; the beds were amazing; the bedding was luxurious; the bathrooms were nicely appointed; everything was perfectly clean; the breakfasts were spectacular; the personal service was amazing. Michael and Marty made lunch and dinner reservations, recommended the minister and florist, suggested the carriage ride, and set up the lovely courtyard. What else could we have wanted?? We absolutely loved our experience, and we will definitely go back. Our daughter and new son-in-law will be in the New Bern area for a few years, and we are thrilled that we will have the opportunity to visit the Aerie again. Thank you, thank you to Michael and Marty for making our dauther's wedding a memorable event.

The Ultimate B&B

We have stayed at The Aerie on several occasions and cannot wait to get back! Mike & Marty are just super at making you feel welcome and taking care of their guests. The breakfasts are to die for. I cannot express just how wonderful this place is... it's the ultimate B&B. Chris & Doris
