Beautiful B&B that is close to Canandaigua and Rochester, NY. They have three lovely rooms that are immaculate, large and well furnished. The common areas are big and comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious; the conversation around the table was informative, interesting and fun. The "signature" for this B&B are the wonderful hosts, Linda and Bob, who make you feel right at home. Canandaigua is home to the Culinary Institute that provides wonderful lunches and dinners, wine tasting, and food and wine classes. There is a steamboat ride on the lake, swimming, several nature trails nearby and wineries to explore. It's a great place to get away and relax!

My husband and I celebrated our 25th anniversary. Friends, who were celebrating their 10th, came along too. From the roses, chocolates, dinner reservations that were made, and wonderful breakfast in the morning, everything was awesome. No detail was overlooked. Lynda and Bob are wonderful innkeepers and hosts. I truly recommend Abner Adams House to everyone. I can't wait to go back.

We were celebrating our 10th and good friends were celebrating their 25th when we spent the night at the Abner Adams House. Though close to home, it was a perfect romantic getaway for us all. Bob and Lynda were wonderful hosts. Their B&B is so beautiful and their updates have made it a very upscale place to stay while keeping in with the historic nature of the home. We had a delightful time meeting the other guests from French Canada as well. Bob and Lynda have made it their business to know the best places to eat and are very helpful with information about what to do out and about the Finger Lakes. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for place as comfortable as home, yet where you will feel totally pampered.

This was a perfect place to spend the first night of our vacation, and we wanted to stay longer. Our hosts were wonderful and very knowledgeable about the area. Breakfast was delicious, and our room was very well appointed and comfortable. The area was so peaceful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We were looking to get away before the birth of our 3rd child, not far away but away for peace and quiet. We found the perfect place. Lynda and Bob were the perfect innkeepers that knew when to be available. Our bed was so comfortable that we overslept. Breakfast was perfect and we did not need lunch. And the next time we get a chance to get away we will return.

If you are looking for a B&B in the Finger Lakes region or Rochester area you cannot do better than the Abner Adams House! It is a beautifully decorated historical house in a peaceful setting amidst lovely gardens. The guests have an entire wing to themselves!

Abner Adams House is perfect for a romantic weekend away in a quiet and peaceful village, close to many area attractions. The house has wonderful amenities and beautifully decorated rooms. There is a great view from the balcony of the room, Ele's escape. The dining room has a romantic table for two and there was more food than we could eat each morning for breakfast. If we normally make reservations at hotels I would highly suggest that you opt to make a reservation here. The owners are very pleasant and much nicer than staying in a hotel. We plan to go back next year when visiting the greater Rochester area. Also, this B&B is in a great location if you plan on visiting the finger lakes.
