Abbotswood House

If you're looking to just relax away from home with a home like feel look no further! Hot tub was amazing and the game room was loaded with fun. Breakfast was truly amazing home made cooking. Will be back for sure! Thanks Ros! Kyle and Brittney

My new wife and I had the time of our lives here. Ros made it a very enjoyable honeymoon with a wonderful breakfast every morning (the woman does things with fruit I've never even dreamed of-- DELICIOUS!), and the indoor heated pool was fantastic! We stayed in the Poldark Room, connected to the game room where I taught my wife to play pool. The room itself was clean and comfortable and always the perfect temperature, and very romantic with the fireplace, jetted tub, and enormous shower. We hardly wanted to leave the room! We've already booked for our anniversary next year!!!

We were welcomed warmly and thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay. Our 1st B&B experience has probably spoiled us for any other! Our host's warmth and kindness will stay with us as a daily example of how to treat each other. Thank you!

Our experience at Abbotswood is a perfect example as to why we B&B. The room (Poldark Room) was private and spacious with the added touch of a romantic fireplace. The bed was comfortable and the jetted bathtub perfect! We greatly enjoyed having the indoor pool at our disposal. I think the best part of Abbotswood, however, is Ros, the proprietor. Her hospitality made our trip! Not only were her breakfasts fantastic, but she took time to make sure our needs were met and even put special touches in our room everyday. The location was not exactly what we expected (residential and a few miles from downtown), but once we met Ros and settled in, we were more than glad that we stayed. We would definitely visit again!!!

My husband and I recently spent a relaxing weekend at Abbottswood. We chose to stay in the Poldark Room which is comfortably furnished with a small sitting area in front of the fireplace, and the most comfortable (and huge!) king sized bed we have slept on. The doors open to a large patio to the back - we enjoyed sitting and reading with the doors open and fireplace turned on while a gentle rain fell outside. The Poldark Room has it's own private entrance and parking. Did I mention the breakfasts we had? Ros is amazing, such a gracious and attentive hostess. She prepared muesli, english muffins with various spreads, fresh fruit, juice, coffee, poached eggs with asaparagus all for us- and this was just the first day! Such a large meal we did not need to eat again for several hours, so we were well prepared for our day of exploring N. Idaho. On our second day, she prepared a breakfast as enjoyable as the first - we were also joined by a few other guests from around the world, which made for great breakfast conversation, sharing stories before we all turned out for the day. So happy we chose Abbottswood!

My best friend and I stayed at the Abbotswood in the Poldark room. What a beautiful room. Private entrance with a wonderful private bath. Jacuzzi tub in the bath. Hot tub outside the door overall a true treasure in CDA Idaho. We just stayed for the night to have a little get away from our daily routines. We watched movies went swimming in the indoor swimming pool which was heated. Had a few drinks and sat in the hot tub to end the night. We absolutely will return. We stayed at this charming B & B in February. We had reservations for the Poldark Suite and the room was perfect. We were able to relax by playing a few rounds of billards. The evening snack served in front of a cozy private fireplace was a nice treat. The best memory of this experience was the delicious gourmet breakfast. The homemade scones and lemon curd were wonderful. We had our own private chef to satisfy our own tastes. Best Breakfast Ever!

Ros Thank you for making our honeymoon special! The bed was ridiculously comfortable and the breakfasts were delicious. It was a real treat to have courses of breakfast with fine china and crystal! Thank you also for your hospitality. We will definitely spread the word to North Dakota and Montana. See you in 10 years!
