“Love love love Touch of Italy”
Debbie MCanfield, OH
My husband Lumpy and I and great friends of ours stayed at this wonderful B and B in July. It is the best B and B that we have ever stayed in. Everything was perfect. Debbie and Jim are awesome. The four of us already booked for New Years Eve.

“Great Visit to a town not too far”
Judith FLaughlintown, PA
THis is a great home away from home. Jim and Debbie make you feel like long time friends. The room was well thought out for comfort and convience. The fridge in the room was helpful to put water in to be cold for the next day's trip. Hope to go back again.

“A night at A Touch of Italy”
Jim F8/5/2010
I spent one night at A Touch of Italy June 26, 2010. The room was clean and comfortable while Debbie and Jim were great hostess/host. A highlight of my visit was aa very relaxing, much needed massage. Debbie has an arrangement with a licensed massage therapist who works out of nearby Fremont. This was especially welcome because I had just completed a bike ride from Toledo in support of the Multiple Sclerosis Society. The massage along with Debbie's warm attentivness (including a delicious breakfast) makes this place a wonderful respite for travelers.
I recommend a Touch of Italy to all.

“Terrific place to stay”
Gene SBremen, OH

My wife and I celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary with two wonderful nights here. The room was excellent, Deb was an outstanding hostess who made us feel part of her family and the food was outstanding. Deb helped us by making dinner reservations, by providing brochures from local attractions and just by making us feel at home in her home. We highly recommend this B&B.

“Amazing!”
Kevin R6/6/2010
My girlfriend and I stayed at A Touch of Italy on June 3-5, 2010. We had a wonderful time! We truly were pampered by Deborah! I surprised my girlfriend with the romance package that included a dozen beautiful red roses, a chocolate cake and a bottle of wine. We went to dinner at a local winery called Mon Ami. Upon our return to A Touch of Italy that evening, Deborah had turned down the sheets and placed rose petals on the bed. The next morning, Deborah made a wonderful breakfast…Her special Tuscan egg bake, sausage, fresh fruit, herbs and vegetables all grown in her backyard garden. She also provided us with a comprehensive packet of information and detailed maps on the Port Clinton area. The next morning, Deborah made an even better (hard to imagine!) breakfast of pancakes with homemade strawberry topping, sausage patties made with her homegrown herbs, Italian coffees, specialty teas and Deborah’s very own homemade grape juice made from her homegrown Italian grapes. We highly recommend this Bed & Breakfast, and I even purchased an additional night for my parents’ anniversary. There were so many personal touches that we appreciated very much. A Touch of Italy is impeccably decorated and everything has been thought of! The rooms are very clean and beautiful, and the gardens, porches and veranda are spectacular! Deborah went above and beyond to assure that we enjoyed ourselves.

“Spectacular”
Steve C5/2/2010
Deb and Jim were gracious hosts. We could not have been treated any better. The breakfast was out of this world. A cooked Italian egg meal with sausage, fruit, toast, juice and tea or coffee. The presentation was like a picture. Deb called around to a couple of restaurants trying to find table availability and pricing when we arrived. She also gave us information about area sights and some history of Port Clinton. Our room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. We sipped a complimentary bottle of wine on their upstairs porch. We will definitely go back. Thanks Jim and Deb.

The innkeepers a A Touch of Italy treated us like family. Their suggestions for dining and entertainment made our stay a great experience. The rooms are spotless with plenty of amenities, the breakfasts are nothing short of spectacular. We can't wait to stay here again. Doug and Faye

“2nd stay as nice as 1st! Romantic!”
Stacy M (2 reviews)
3/4/2010
My husband and I enjoyed our first stay with Deb so much we decided to go again. We did not have plans this time, other than dinner and a movie in our room. Deb had a list of bands that were playing in the area just in case we decided to go out. When we returned from dinner, our bed was covered with rose petals! How romantic! Breakfast was again superb; pancakes with wild blueberry topping and fresh whipped cream! We have decided this will be at least a yearly getaway for us! Thanks Deb!

“A Wonderful Place to Stay!!”
Stacy M (2 reviews)

My husband and I just returned from a night at A Touch of Italy. This is by far the best B&B I have stayed in. Deb is a wonderful hostess. The details that she sees to are great. She recommended a place for dinner which turned out to be a lot of fun. She filled us in on local history, had a bottle of wine chilled for us upon our arrival and had turned down our bed for us when we returned for the evening. Breakfast was outstanding; Tuscan egg bake, sausage, fresh fruit, toast with homemade jam and the best apple caramel cinnamon roll I have eaten. The only bad thing I can think of is that we had to leave! There were other guests there, but we never heard anyone. I highly recommend staying here to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing weekend get-away. Thanks Deb! We can't wait to come back and see you again!

“Simply and Romantically Amazing”

Simply and Romantically Amazing
For a first time bed and breakfaster, this place was simply amazing. Our host made us feel very welcome in this town has seemed to have connections almost everywhere. The rooms are very comfortable and make you feel at home. We stayed only one night but it was one of the most romantic nights of our lives. Staying out on the balcony sipping wine and relaxing is highly recommended here. AND the breakfast in the morning is simply to die for! We ate so much we skipped lunch we were that full. We'll definitely be coming back to this place in the future. Catherine P.
