A Trip Back to the 1940's

I have been visiting Gettysburg since 1981. I remember when this B&B opened up. I knew the owners from them working at Steve Shultz's family B&B/book store/ restaurant/print gallery, The Farnsworth House; also located on Baltimore St. All nice people and always concerned with Job#1 CUSTOMER SERVICE & VALUE. I would recommend this B&B to anyone wishing to drift back to the WWII era.

A very pleasant stay

We enjoyed three wonderful nights here. The service and accommodations were fine and the 24 hour kitchen was adequately stocked and quite handy.

We were very pleased with the inn and the service we recived. Beds were compfy and decore makes me want to go back to stay in other rooms. My granddaughters were not excited about the history of gettysburg,( too young I guess... we adults LOVED it and will return) but when she talked about our rooms ...was very excited!

We had the best time!

My husband and I along with my parents stayed at A Sentimental Journey B&B. We loved it. The innkeeper Barbara was friendly and attentive and the Inn was spotless and comfy. We were in walking distance of just about everything. We will definately return to Gettysburg and to this bed and breakfast.

Great B&B!

My Children and I stayed at A Sentimental Journey B&B this past April. The place is a treasure trove of interesting memorabilia! It is kept very clean and my kids said the beds were so comfortable. The rooms were all a very nice size and decorated beautifully It's in a fantastic location within easy walking distanec to town and many attractions. The owners of this B&B are some of the nicest people I have ever met. They're very friendly and accommodating. We arrived at 10pm and they couldn't have been nicer about getting us in the house. They can tell you anything you need or want to know about Gettysburg and go the extra distance to make your stay comfortable and memorable. It's a 5 star accommodation at a very affordable price. Highly recommended!
